Visitors from mainland Europe represent  31% of all visitors and 37% of all revenue.  Key European markets  are bucking the trend, in spite of the recession and becoming increasingly important to Ireland. The ‘Sightseers and Culture Seekers’ are the most attractive target market and there are nearly 50 million of them in mainland Europe! Direct access to the Island of Ireland from key-points in Europe continues to drive growth. Key markets such as Germany, France, Italy and Spain, as well as the Nordics can offer business potential  that  is incremental to your existing customer base.
